The 510 Atomizers I ordered form liberty flights was the first replacement atomizers I’ve ordered. The 2 that came with my Titan 510 kit, and the one that was included in my PCC kit lasted for about 5 weeks (that’s 3 dead atomizers in 5 weeks). I was starting to get nervious hoping my last atomizer would last until my 5 pack arrived.

I spent 10 or 15 minutes searching Google and various electronic cigarette message boards until I felt comfortable with a vendor. So far I’d only dealt with Totally Wicked and PureSmoker and they both set the bar so high I was sure I couldn’t luck out with another great experience .. but luckily Liberty Flights came through and 4 days later, to much relief, the atomizers showed up. I paid a total $39.99 (including shipping) for the 5 pack.

The performance of the Liberty Flights atomizers is on par with the ones included with my Titan 510 Kit. If I had to make a decision, I would say the Liberty Flights atomizers somehow burn a little hotter. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and am reordering another 5 pack tonight.

Over the past 2 months I’ve averaged 7-10 days per atomizer with extremely heavy usage (also using them on PureSmoker 5v Passthrough). They are lasting longer now that I am better at detecting low fluid levels, letting them roll off the table less, and keeping them clean.

The PureSmoker USB pass through I ordered last week was in the mailbox this evening. I finally just had a chance to open it up .

Off the bat, i’m a little disappionted I didnt’ get any instructions for $70.00. The threads also don’t screw together nearly as smoothly as everything I’ve got from Totally Wicked for my 510 atomizers. Also, the Atomizer that was supposed to be included with the Pass Through was missing!

Their site clearly states included compontents:

1 x PS Manual USBpass (Updated Design, 3 Piece Button, Stainless Steel Construction, Shorter Cord)
1 x Stainless Steel Adapter

I plugged the unit into my USB port and screwed on an atomizer. I’ve read online and see in youtube videos that many people break their atomizers on the Puresmoker pass through because they screw them down too far. I see why now. It’s so freaking hard to screw in anyway you have no idea where the stopping point is.

Once i finally had it together I push the button and not a single thing happens.

In summary, it’s missing components, there are no instructions, and it doesn’t work. I’m going to find that bastard who posted the great YouTube review on this thing.

Going to have to play around with this and burn some time researching around online. I’ll post an update to let people know if I end up sending this back.

April 7th Update
I got it working! I did not screw the atomizer down far enough (perhaps paranoid from all the “don’t screw it down too tight” comments all over the message boards). Finally assembled, this unit produces some declious vaper at higher voltage than the standard 510 batteries.

Part of my electronic nicotine vaporizing process is topping off a fresh cart and hunting out fresh ecig reviews and mods on YouTube. While browsing updates on proposed electronic cigarette bans I came this video by VaporScoop.

I’ve been disappointed to hear about upcoming nicotine ejuice bans in the UK and other countries. I feel like everyone knows the money generated from big tobacco taxes is the biggest opponent of electronic cigarettes. VaporScoop sums up most of my own thoughts pretty clearly. It’s nice to see someone articulate these points ad do the research.

Please search for and sign the petitions circulating online showing your support of electronic cigarettes. I will attempt to compile a list on the site over the next month to help people get their voice heard.

Just as I was really starting to get nervious about running out of juice and prefilled cartridges from my initial starter kit the mail man came by with my package from Totally Wicked yesterday.

Inside where 2 Titan Tornado batteries, one 30ML bottle of 36mg Super High Strength State Express flavored Eliquid, and one 30ml bottle of 18mg State Express.

I quickly screwed the Tornado charging adapter into my 510 charger and inserted one of the Tornados to top off it’s factor charge. Next, time to drip some of the freshly arrived “State Express”. Whoah! I missed this stuff. The 18MG is the perfect strength for me and I’ve got the Super High Strength for backup during any serious withdrawls. The 30ml bottles seem giant compared to the ones I have been using the past week.

A couple hours later the manual battery I was using went dead and it was time to try out the first Tornado battery (hurray!). I noticed a huge increase in vapor and flavor quality on the first puff. Normally my 510 would start to fall off after 10-15 puffs, but the Tornado Batteries seem to go strong for hours and hours. The first one lasted for at least 8 hours of almost constant use.

The performance of the tornado battery using my 510 atomizer is awesome. It provides constant reliable power that would likely last most people the entire day. There is no drop in performance even after what seems like a few hundred vapes.

Because 90% of the vaping I do is while working on my computer I’ve learned using a gadget called a “USB Passthrough” to power my electronic cigarette will save me from rotating between the 3 batteries I have for my Titan 510. Currently I get about 90 minutes out of each battery before I have to grab a fresh one and throw the depleted on the charger.

A USB Passthrough allows you to plug screw your atomizer onto a power source that connects to any computer’s USB port. Simply unscrew the battery and screw on the ‘pass through’, no more dependency on batteries as long as a USB port is in reach.

I think more consistent power will result in better production. Even though I get 90 minutes out of a battery I can feel it’s performance dropping off after 9 or 10 hits. I’m looking forward to consistently heavy vapor.

The PureSmoker PS Manual USBpass V2 allows you to screw on a variety of adapters to fit different atomizers. Literally this will work for almost every popular model of premium electronic cigarettes and electronic nicotine inhalators. I am looking forward to ordering a few more adapters and different models of atomizers and to see how they differ and which ones perform better. The price with shipping was $78. This was about 3 times more than several other recommended Pass Throughs I came across, meaning you could get started a lot cheaper.

I’m stuck thinking strategy of ignoring price and buying top shelf, highest recommended products is what has led me to stop smoking analog cigarettes all together. I think after this purchase I may try to become a bit more frugal. Here’s a warning for you: The excitement of finally being released from Tobacco Prison makes it seem easy to drop more and more money on cool vaping gadgets and supplies.

Can’t wait til this gets here and I actually know what I’m talking about

I am more shocked than anyone that I’ve made it a full week without smoking a real cigarette. I also can’t believe how fast the body starts to recover from the tobacco abuse. This quick recovery also makes it clear how badly cigarettes were affecting my breathing, eating, sleeping, and energy levels.

I don’t wake up in the middle of the night any longer. When I wake up in the morning I don’t cough any more. There’s more bounce in my step when i read the top of the stairs than there was before. I feel like every day my lung capacity has doubled. Even talking is easier. I can smell and taste again! I forgot water had a taste, lol.

Recovering taste buds are also leading to higher levels of enjoyment when it comes to using my electronic cigarette. You really can start to taste the flavors better once the tobacco tar has worn off your taste buds. I hadn’t really thought of this the first few days I was using my 510.

I’m not really counting the days, so it was exciting to realize this was the one week anniversary of breaking out of tobacco prison. It doesn’t seem like I’m alone when it comes to breaking the habit with electronic cigarettes. Time and time again i’m finding people on YouTube who smoked for 30 years and quit the first week they had their electronic unit.

After a few days of not having one standard cigarette I decided to recommend electronic cigarettes to one of my friends who has also smoked since high school. I told him to skip the cheaper, easier to find products and go directly to totally wicked to review what I consider all of the products.

I explained how happy I was with the Titan 510 and went into detail about how it had exceeded all of my expectations. A few days later he had also decided to purchase a Titan 510 and wanted to make sure that I was still happy with the unit that I purchased. I let him know that everything was great except that I was witching hour batteries often and that he should order several additional batteries with a starter kit.

Taking my advice into consideration, my friend decided to purchase the Titan Tornado because many users had reported these batteries last all day. A few days later his package arrived and he quickly jumped on Skype to tell me about his great experiences with his Tornado. Right when I was forced to change out batteries he said that his battery had lasted all evening on a single charge (it was pretty late at night when we were having this discussion).

One great thing for me about the tornado is that it is based on the 510 atomizer. I’m going to order a couple of the Tornado batteries from Totally Wicked, along with the adapter that will allow them to charge on the Titan 510 battery charger I already use. Hopefully this will all work like I think it will.

Totally Wicked charged me $49.97 for 2 Titan Tornado Batteries, the adapter, plus shipping. I’ll put up a new post once they arrive and I’ve had a chance to use them.

Yesterday was the first full day I haven’t had a cigarette in at least 10 years. After smoking the last cigarette I had in the house on Tuesday morning, I was able to make it through the entire day Wednesday without a cigarette or even seriously tempted to go buy more.

The crazy thing is that I’m not even really craving one, nor was I committed to quitting. It just seems like I prefer the vapor to the tobacco smoke immediately.

Time to clean up all the ashes around this place!

The Wicked E-Liquid 36MG Super High Apple was the first flavor I tried after receiving my first electronic cigarette and juice sampler pack yesterday afternoon. I have to tell you this eliquid make me break a sweat and need to bring the fan into the office. It has a chemically taste, but also very much like an apple jolly rancher. The vapor is extremely heavy on this compared to the prefilled carts that came included in the Titan 510 kit. I felt like I needed time out to recover from this one.

I refilled the cart with 18MG strength Cherry after about an hour of vaping on the Apple. 18MG is much smoother and no heat flashes or ear drum thumping. The cherry reminds me of how pipe smoke smells. It’s a really great flavor and I’ll reorder this. I’m going to leave the 36MG strength cherry in the box for now.

Time for the 18MG strength French Pipe. This really tastes like I’m smoking expensive tobacco. After only having 1 real cigarette so far today I can feel this ejuice really satisfying my craving to light one up. Must get more of this one.

Last but not least, State Express in 18MG strength. This one is my favorite. It has a unique flavor all to it’s own. It does remind me of a cigarette flavor, but in too many ways to describe it’s infinitely better.

Because this is one of the first flavors of nicotine juice I’ve tried I don’t really think I’ve any authority to issue any formal ratings (besides there are enough people doing a great job with that). I will say all the flavors I tried were awesome, but 36MG is definitely too strong for me.

The 510 is getting broke in nicely now. It is putting out huge plumes of vapor and exceeding all my expectations. The battery life is great and everything works like it should (or better).

The Titan 510 and eJuice I ordered from Totally Wicked was waiting in my door when I got back from lunch this afternoon.

First off, I’m really impressed how quickly this thing got here. I don’t think I’ve seen shipping this fast from anyone online in years (and I order online quite a lot). Secondly, the quality of the packaging this unit came in is off the scale.

After browsing the instructions for a few seconds and blowing through the atomizer to clear some of the primer juice, I started screwing things together. The batteries came partially charged (probably a result of testing at the factory) so I couldn’t stop myself. I would advise people to fully charge their batteries before they start if they can hold off trying the device immediately upon unpacking.

I plugged in one of the prefilled nicotine juice cartridges that was included with the 510 kit and took a few long drags. I could immediately feel the nicotine hitting my system. The vapor was cool and easier to inhale that tobacco smoke. I noticed after 5 or 6 puffs I was ok to set it down and start plugging in the included charger and getting the other included battery ready.

After a few minutes I took another 5 or 6 drags off the 510 and did not get the same effect. Initially I figured the battery was already depleted because I hadn’t let it fully charge properly. A few minutes later I realized I had used one of the “NON” cartridges that included no nicotine. Apparently the initial buzz I got was from the primer that remained on the wick. After opening an inserting a “HIGH” cartridge I couldn’t believe the way this thing felt. I could feel it in my eyes and ears! I then plugged in a medium cartridge and this seems be much more my style.

I’ve read there is a short break-in period for the atomizer and I’m looking forward to seeing how this performs with a fully charged battery. A big thanks goes out to all the video bloggers on YouTube who review and compare their experiences with electronic cigarettes. I feel like these folks are the reason I was able to be rewarded with such a great experience so far from this purchase.

I am shocked at how closely this mimics a cigarette. I almost feel like I’d rather use this than light a cigarette already. Amazing product. Can’t wait to try out some different flavors later tonight.
